Hi Minglers,
We hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday:)
Those of you who stayed back in London may have spent most of the holidays inside due to the famous British weather – and like us you may have felt a little bit homesick thinking of all the Easter traditions you are missing from back home (in our case especially the food).
The slight homesickness made us wonder; what do the Brits living abroad miss most about UK? What should we really appreciate while living in London?
We started asking around and it is now clear what we MUST take a liking to as Londoner-wannabes: salt and vinegar crisps, bacon, cider, Guinness, the bookies, Marmite, mac & cheese in a can, free stuff (!), PG teabags, the banter, rugby, yer mates, the local pub, crumpets, custard creams and “getting anywhere by an impeccable public transportation system”…
At Mingleplanet we strive to offer you events that shows you the real British culture and the next couple of events will not only include some of the MUST TRY’s above, but also introduce you to two of Britains favourite sports; RUGBY & PUBCRAWL!

RUGBY - TRY IT OUT!
On Sunday 10th of May we have hired a true expert, Edward Richardson, who have played rugby professionally and coached international players to teach us how it's done.
This is a unique chance to find your inner rugby player, get to know the rules and beat your fellow minglers at the pitch!
Number of tickets to this event are limited to 25. Both males and females are welcome to sign up. No experience whatsoever is required :)

CAMDEN PUBCRAWL
Let us take you on a tour to the coolest waterholes in Camden Town on the 4th of July 2009.
Besides testing the sunny beergardens and trying a wide variety of drinks (and loos;)), this is also a great way to meet new friends!
